What is your favorite keyboard?

If you look for a keyboard online it is one of the most overwhelming things to search for, there are just so many different brands and generic ones with crazy features and shapes. I'm looking to get a new one and the best way i can think of is----
To just ask you guys to list and show me your favorite keyboard and explain why. Also to me these are the best and funnest threads when people just get to list their favorites. So feel free to list links, pictures, reviews, and descriptions of your keyboard, your favorite keyboard, or just the one you own.

I'm looking for a new keyboard as well to replace my crappy generic one, so this thread could prove very helpful.

Edit: hot off the presses - this might prove useful too

i personally use the corsair k70 with mx reds and it is my baby

CM Storm Rapid Fire XT (MX Blues)

First mech I bought, my parents called me crazy to waste my birthday gift on a keyboard this expensive, never loved typing this much.

Das keyboard makes the best. Das Keyboard professional is the best thing I've ever typed on

I use any old garbage for typing, Using a keyboard for gaming would be stupid, Those things are designed for antique typewriters.

I'm still waiting for analogue buttons on one of these gaming pads, I don't know what use it would be I just want it.

My favorite keyboard is the Ergodox (shown above), the typing experience combined with its ability to reprogram any key is great; although it is fairly expensive.

I bought the Kul es-87 with brown switches: http://keyeduplabs.com/

The keyboard is a bit expensive but it's great to type on. I bought the Kul es-87 because it's really low profile so it doesn't stick out in an office environment. I got brown switches since they're generally pretty quiet compared to blues or greens. I put double dental bands on each key to eliminate the sound from hitting the backplate. I chose browns instead of clears because I was afraid that the clears may be end up being too stiff for me and cause fatigue while playing osu or typing. I might give clears a try when I get the money.

My Filco TKL currently. Clean, simple and efficient.

After that I want an Ortholinear Planck.

And then I want a 7-bit Pantom

I have the Logitech Orion. Best keyboard I've ever used.

Dvorak, Cherry MX Tactile Grey, Arrow keys, No useless CAPS LOCK, My end game board.
Edit: Might end up getting a Ergodox eventually, They are pretty :p
More edits (I must like typing): I recommend the HHKB, very solid board.

I recently switched from a Logitech G19s to a Logitech K270 (because I really need wireless keyboards, the G19s was often in my way during work).

The best keyboard I ever had was the Logitech DiNovo Edge. Keep your mechanical keys, they are rubbish compared to the ones on that. If only it would have had a numerical pad, it would have been perfect.

What was the g19 like? that's the one I've been looking at.

Membrane keys, quite mushy feeling really. The screen is a nice touch and can be used for hardware monitoring if you use AIDA64, but after a while the novelty wears off and you start to ignore the screen.
Perhaps it's useful to display buff stats etc when playing WoW or doing something like that, but I never really used it.

What I found most irritating is the large and stiff dual cable (the keyboard has USB as well as its own power brick for USB passthrough). I often need to clear my entire desk because I need the space to sort out papers, so the cable completely ruined it for me.

I'm much happier with my $30 K270 than I ever was with the $200-ish G19s. But your mileage may vary.

I like the G710+ from logitech cause... It's what I have, I haven't really tried much else that's on the market because this keyboard just has everything I want, flashy looks, bright backlight, macro keys, everything is programmable, anti ghosting, shut off windows key, EXCELLENT media controls, and mechanical switches. It sure is expensive, but it's the only keyboard that has ever really tickled my fancy to such an extreme.

Max Keyboard Nighthawk X8 with mx browns. I had a ducky but swapped it for this one. These keycaps are the best I had so far, they have a slight rubbery grip feel to them. All black matte finish and adjustable backlight matches my setup. Included palm rests are comfy too.

The Model M, you can sometimes find them cheap if you don't mind cleaning a filthy keyboard

So far I like the Logitech Orion the best that's a pretty sexy keyboard I love Logitech and haven't seen that one yet.
