I could only identify the flash controller (NXP thingy)

No idea exactly but it looks like an answering machine/digital audio controller for a VOIP-based digital communications setup. Was it used in some automated answering service, like "to get help with X, type 2" kind of deal?
Either that or a video processors of some soft, maybe for surveillance or acceleration.
