What is the difference?

Hello everyone, I'm thinking of building a X99 build sometime in the near future (hopefully), and while I was looking around, I came across three motherboards that look identical, but have slightly different costs.

Ill link to the Canadian Part Picker website so you can view each mobo.

MSI X99A Raider

MSI X99A SLI Plus

MSI X99S SLI Plus

I checked the MSI website and couldn't find these exact mobos.

Also another quick question. What's really the difference between the i7-5820k and i7-5930k? Would I notice the difference in the PCI Lane speed if I'm using 2 or more GPUs.

Thanks!

X99S SLI Plus doesn't have USB 3.1 ports.

X99A Raider replaces 2 USB 2.0 ports on the rear I/O of the X99A SLI Plus with USB 3.0 ports, but the X99A SLI Plus has support for 2 more USB 3.0 front panel ports (and two more USB 2.0) because of a VIA VL805 USB controller.

Compared to the X99A Raider, the X99A SLI Plus and X99S SLI Plus both have one more physical x16 slot (x8 electrically).

The 5930K is a higher binned chip, so it could potentially overclock better. In the real world, the difference isn't that big.

You won't see a graphical performance difference between running the same cards on these two CPUs. Rather than running at x16, x16 on the 5930K, they'll run in x16, x8 on the 5820K. PCI-e 3.0 x8 should provide more than enough bandwidth for any card on the market right now.

You are a beautiful person. Thanks for the information, really appreciate it!
