I could either use the AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1GHz Socket AM3+ 8-core Black Edition Processor or the FX-6200 Zambezi 3.8 GHz (4.1 turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W. What CPU is better? I am gaming and rendering 1080P video 14 min long with sony vegas 12 any ideas
what are you using it for? do you need 8 cores or are you gaming?
gaming go with the 6 core
cad photoshop. rendering, go with the 8 core

What about the AMD FX-8350 Vishera Socket AM3+ 4.0ghz (4.2ghz Turbo)
The FX-8120 will be faster as long as your system doesn't have a bottleneck.
get a vishera 6300 or the quad core
edit: nvm rendering = 8 core
ya the 8 core will be the best for you. but you should get this cpu instead of the 8150 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009O7YU56/?tag=pcpapi-20
Yeah 8150 or 8350 are the best bet, if you intend on gaming and rendering.
Seriously, as far as I know, there's no more reason to buy Zambezi. It had a lot of flaws, and the new Visheras fix a lot of them. And they do that while still being more power efficient.
Because you're rendering, get an 8350
