I figure while we wait for the comparison with the I5 and the FX 8350. I'll still keep refining my builds. I already have this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131837&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= one picked out.. Id like to stay around 140 dollars.
Its ok but because its ASUS its a little more expensive for what you get, Check out the Gigavyte Z77x Boards they have about as many features but the emphasis is on build quality and longevity with Dual-Bios and More Durable Components.
any board in particular?
The D3H or the UD3H depending on where your buying from the price varies. the UD3H just has Extra Copper in the PCB and a bunch of extra little features all over.
Edit: just checked pc part picker and found the D3h at 126$ w/ MIR and the UD3H at 144$
Nice i think ive flip flopped from the asus to this one before.
I have a higher frequency memory selected http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231468&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= > Does that board support it?
Yep they can handle up to 2400Mhz memory for the D3H and 2666Mhz for the UD3H
