What is the best GTX 980 GPU

I need some help deciding on a GPU.
I'm mainly stuck between the Asus Geforce GTX 980 STRIX or the Evga Geforce GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0, but will take other 980's into consideration.
I would also like to upgrade to a 3 monitor setup in the future so I want to make sure the GPU will be compatible with a 3 monitor setup at atleast 1080p.

it's all a matter of brand preference. EVGA is great (customer service is beyond impeccable.. you ever have trouble with your card, EVGA will go through god and hellfire to make sure you're problem gets fixed), but a lot people won't buy their GPUs strictly cause they don't offer a backplate. you can buy a 20 dollar backplate directly made from them if you really want one. but If i had to choose which 980 to get i'd probably look at the G1 Gaming from Gigabyte before i'd pick up an EVGA (strictly cause of the lack of a backplate)

I have the 980 SC. It came running at 1.392GHz out of the box, ACX 2.0 cooler quiet, it was easy to remove that cooler and replace it with a water block as its a reference PCB.

i mean if you were going to watercool your GPU from the beginning, the reference card would of been fine as well.

IMHO the EVGA GTX 980 Hybrid with the AIO water cooler so you benefit from lower GPU and case temps.

It's exactly as Kat said. A matter of preference.

EVGA, to me, offers an extra value to the enthusiast consumer by not canceling your guarantee when you remove the heatink & fans to install a waterblock on it.
But then again, if you aren't going the water-cooling route, most manufacturers offer similar build quality these days. I mean like ASUS, Sapphire (best for amd imho), EVGA are all top notch in my book.

The best 980 gpu is a 980ti :D
