What is the best ________ (anything)

What is the best reasonably priced wall mounted rack for a home closet (room for 3 items minimum) ?

Thanks @bigpic for starting this thread, dont want to highjack the acquired thread.

What is the best 3.5mm stereo mixer for about 3-4 inputs that doesn’t look like a NASA control center station?

Is breakout cables (3.5mm TRS > 2x 6.3mm TS or 2x RCA) acceptable? Else the only answer sadly is Teenage Engineering TX-6.
If breakout is acceptable, then a quality DJ-mixer like the Omnitronik TRM-402 would be my suggestion. It is the closest you can get to volume-knob per channel.

Different U’s in size; you may need 4x anchor bolts (M8 usually) to affix to wall.

No affiliation other than I buy from them (odds are you won’t be in the same market anyway)

The TX-6 looks great (and the title does say ‘best’), but is an order of magnitude more costly that what I use for a basic function of getting 3x audio inputs into one computer

In interest of options:

Whether either meet anyone’s needs, for yourself to decide.

Thank-you too @bigpic for this thread. Funnily I was wondering if there was something smaller to replace my Mackie DFX6 mixer which I’ve used to switch several PC inputs!

Regarding racks, you could take a peek at Network Cabs .

They have a small range of wall-mount racks but also take a look at their range of wall-mount brackets (I’ve used several of those).
HTH

a used network rack for $40 on marketplace or craigslist
Typically 4-8u half depth

OK I had not thought about individual wall-mount backets! Makes sense when you don’t want to commit to a certain location for every future device in the location

Groan I guess I need to get a Facebook account, this seems to be the third or fourth wave of reasons to have a facebook account

Throw-away account. Like email addresses

Time to consolidate my many disks…thinking about the 4TB Kingston Fury Renegade for ~$275…if anyone has any other suggestions I’d greatly appreciate it
