I hear people talking about this thing called Sharia Law. And I would like to know what it is.
It is form of Islamic cancer.
It's a legal system that stems from Arabic world. It is based on Islam a lot, but it would be a mistake to say that it's purely Islamic. It's a collection of laws and customs that had existed even before Islam in that part of the world. Islam just adopted a lot. Think about it. Do you honestly think that someone like Mohammad or anyone could just appear and start preaching things that are completely new and different from what people are used to and they would just accept it? Nope.
And it's actually very interesting. It's easy to say that Sharia Law is evil, but it's not ALL about religion and cutting people's heads and arms. That's one tiny part or the law that deals with punishment for serious crimes. And like in every religion the most serious crimes are against religion itself and some crimes against morality. You can find that kind of evil crap in every religion. Luckily for us most Christians and Jews aren't crazy enough to actually follow any of their shit.
It's a pretty huge legal system. We used to study a lot about the history of it in our first year of law school when we learned about all the biggest and most influential legal systems throughout history. And Sharia Law is one of them. The other two are Civil Law - the fairest and most civilized basis for legal system today (based on Roman Law) and Common Law or Case Law which is practiced in the UK and the US.
The most interesting aspect of Sharia Law are their trade and commerce regulations because those people were fuckin' amazing merchants and they had an insanely well developed trading regulations for the time. It was all about fairness and social harmony. So things like interest rates were forbidden, even for banks which is strangely enough in line with Aristotle's thinking that of all the ways of becoming rich, interest rates are the most unnatural. Some of their legal solutions were so good that they were adopted by Europeans.
It's like the Westboro Baptist Church for middle eastern brown people
Well then we must never vote for Clinton or Sanders. I like Capitalism. But some people seem to think that it is too abusive. Isn't that what workers unions are for?
I like capitalism too. But Sanders isn't going to destroy capitalism. He's going after crony capitalism. The guy is just as socialist as the majority of US population. The only problem is that majority of US population know fuck all about what socialism is and that they are in fact socialists.
Then how come all of these Bernie supporters are just saying what they hear and not stating the facts? Like PC SPECS FACTS.
Bernie Sanders isn't a socialist though.
I am more worried about a world government and sharia law. But capitalism is just as important. I like all of my high tech stuff. I don't want to pay the guy who makes computer dyes the same amount as the janitor.
Yeah I don't think you have to worry about that.
Instead of worrying about stupid shit you should worry about your education because you just demonstrated an insane amount of ignorance. Either that or you're trolling.
Your the one who seems the most worried.
It's called wage inequality. And your absolutely right. Only I would add National to the word Socialist. troll=speaking the truth about libs.
You would get along with my friend Lloyd Gallagher, and not my friend but cool guy Ryan the Video Game Lawyer.
So we are going down this path of demonizing the word liberal yet again, or as others used to call us Degenerates. Joy.
I want a balanced budget and everyone to pay their taxes. I'm willing to pay higher for debt free education, because there's no way I'm paying off my college debt before I'm 60.
Talk to anyone in the service industry who bust their ass and describe what they do for the amount of money paid. They'll tell you 12 dollars would be fair, and throw away tips. As tips are an excuse to pay less than minimum wage per hour, so tips make up for it.
I'm willing to go after those who have rigged the system, been caught and only paid fines over it. Hardly any bankers have been jailed.
I'm willing to pay higher in taxes again, for a better health care system and not go into more debt.
I'm willing to move forward with renewable energy sources over fossil fuels, because we are getting to a point where it has become so inefficient.
I get so pissed off at being called a liberal as a swear from conservatives, who don't look at what the rest of the modern world is doing, and how we can adapt it here. OH NO SOCIALISM MAKING THINGS FAIR. I'm for capitalism, but on a level field, which at the moment, we do not have in vital areas.
This right here. This is one of the best posts I've ever read. Fucking nailed it.
I am more worried about asylum seekers in America. Though I do live in Chicago it's hard to fuck around with other people and get away with it. Something that Hillary and Bernie seem to want to really bring in. I think we should really take Europe's warnings. From what I have watched from this video these asylum seekers that beat up a boy at a soccer game want to start a war.
its nothing you never want. i respect their way of living an beliefs but that shit has no place here.
if the "new" socialism means total gove control of american businesses trust me you dont want that... at all.
it makes it very difficult for small companies. its everything the tek hates. however if its really a more controlled by the people that is a different story. which i doubt. while president might change those old fucks will still be there making millions off our sweat.
This isn't even the half of it.
What is going on in EU right now is terrifying. They are inviting in the destruction of their own culture, safety, and security.
The MSM likes to paint a sob story of families in distress, when in reality these people are somewhere in the order of 80% strong young men. They've abandoned their countries, their women and children, their brothers and sisters who stayed to fight, to "seek asylum". There has already been many reports of rape, violence, and abuse from these so called "asylum seekers".
This is what Trump was talking about when he said he wanted to "figure out whats going on first" when asked about closing immigration.
This is an issue I would really like Sanders to be more clear about. I don't have a problem with legal immigration, but the question is how do you properly vet people from war-torn countries such as Syria, or corrupt and bankrupt nations like Sudan?
We already have a long 18-24 month vetting process in place. Just getting to refugee status in America is actually quite difficult. I think John Oliver put out a piece on it back in September.
John Green went to a refugee camp earlier this year, and talked to the teenagers there. I've got a feeling this rape, abuse violence etc, is over stated and over blown by fear mongers.
We already have it figured out, look it up.
