ive been researching about cuda coresbut i berly understand it all i know its that you can program it the way you want it to be and that it is used for making graphics for games or somethin. im looking for video cards for a good price and i dont know what it means if it has 300 or 1000 cuda cores what does that ,mean, is the cores simliar to a cpu?
not at all, but the moar cuda or the moar stream processors, the better
Here is most of what I think you are looking for.

CUDA = Marketing bullshite.
It's the ability to use the graphics card to compute other things. Video conversion, tasks like that.
AMD cards have a similar option called OpenCL, this is cross platform unlike CUDA, and it's generally easier for programmers to utilise.
Neither makes much difference to the average user, I've never really used CUDA, and there's few programs that actually use it.
