What is causing my error?

So recently I have been getting the BSOD in Windows 8 also known as the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

Basically I get it when playing HD videos on like Netflix for example or playing games, I get it rather often like I have been getting it several times a day. Sometimes more than once an hour depending on what I'm doing. I tried to refresh Windows but that didn't seem to do any good. I assume it's my GPU however I'm looking for your take. Could it be my CPU or what are the other possibilities?

My PC is one week old, here are the specs:

CPU: AMD 8350

CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO

Mobo: Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB

Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB (Boot Drive)

              WD Blue 1TB (Storage)

GPU: Asus Radeon R9 280X 3GB

Case: Antec GX700

PSU: Rosewill Hive 650W

Wireless Network Adapter: Rosewill RNX-N250PCe

Note: It should be known that I am not currently nor have I even tried to overclock on this machine yet therefore that is irrelevant.

Google say's it could be the WLan card! Remove the card, play some games, watch netflix (if you can without the card . . .) and look if this resolves the bluescreen.

I will try this later today, I am not able to hook up to ethernet currently and therefore I would be unable to watch Netflix however I can play games. But I do plan on ordering ethernet stuff in the next day or two so I guess if it is the wireless card that won't really be a problem for much longer.

However one question, once I hook up to ethernet do you still recommend fully removing the card or will it be fine as long as I'm using ethernet not WiFi and the card is not in use? Will simply having it plugged into my motherboard cause an issue?

Sorry for the delay :)

I don't think the card will make problems as long as it don't receive any data from the/a network. Try it out first! But if it is the wlan card, why would you want to keep it?

TLTR: IF it is the wlan card just don't use it (with this drivers!?) :)
