I'm looking for a gaming monitor with a high frame rate with a low response time that doesn't look like complete shit.

High frame rate? You mean refresh rate.

So I'm assuming you want something like 120 Hz or 144Hz and low (<2ms) response time?

Well you are going to need a TN panel to do that. So IMO all of them look like shit lol but the Asus ones aren't bad.
