What external optical drive to buy?

Hi.I need an external op.drive but have no idea which ti choose.
I dont need anything fast,just versatile and read/write,dvd/cd/bluray.

Theres no place to put in my case-Fractal Define C,and I am not going to use it that much,so…

I just use a USB cable to Laptop CD rom, and have an old laptop cd drive.
Seldom need to use it, so speed really not an issue

If you allready have an internal drive laying arround,
you could also make it externally by putting in a usb enclosure.
But anything Samsung or Asus drive should be fine.

if you go blueray you can emulate PS3 games as an added bonus. Games are cheap 2nd hand and there are loads of great titles. Obviously emulation can be higher fps, resolution, ultrawide, etc…

But I was actually looking for a specific model anyone of u have had good experiences with.
And I want to “futureproof” it with bluray etc. so I can use it for whatever in the future.
