Hi,
i just reinstalled my computer and am installing the drivers.
I was wondering what the Intel Chipset Device Software does and how it works. (It's the driver you install with the Intel INF update utility).
I know it has got something to do with making sure the OS knows where everything on the motherboard is.
I was wondering if it is needed at all as I notice no difference before and after the installation of the driver.
And If I should install it should I pick the one from the website of my motherboard manufacturer or the newest one from intell.
Sorry if I should have posted this topic in Software instead, wasn't sure
Thanks in advanced,
Jinior
