I am using iTunes for years exclusively only for podcast on my windows machine but I`am totally sick of it? What alternative do you use?

I use Podkeeper on my android phone, it is able to stream from any source and it doesn't use up to much memory.
Good but I was wondering for a Windows PC alternative. I found a few on the net but it will be nice to hear an advice from the tek community.
VLC the best out there.
