What do you think of intels new haswell

right so i have a intel i5 build (http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/p/sjNL) but i have been told to not get windows and download one from the internet is that safe and since ill have to wait till march to get the money i need (£910) would it be beneficial to wait till june/july till the haswell drops

Don't bother waiting.  It's going to be a ~10% improvement as Intel said before.  Then the next cpu after that is just going to be a die shrink so you probably won't see any improvements over haswell.  So you're going to be pretty much set if you buy an Intel i5/i7 system now.  Unless AMD randomly comes out with a crazy fast cpu sometime between now and then.

ok i heard from someone else that it wasnt a very big performance boost
