What do you think I could sell this for?

I want to know how much I could sell my system for, so if you have any thoughts of what I could sell it for, let me know. heres my systemCase:

  • Case: NZXT 810 Switch Black
  • M/B: ASUS Sabertooth 990fx
  • RAM:16Gb Corsair Vengance 1600Mhz
  • CPU: AMD FX-8350 Piledriver OC: 4.6
  • CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler
  • GPU: 2x Nvidia GTX 670FTW
  • Primary HD: Corsair Force Series 3 240Gb
  • Storage HD: 500Gb HD
  • PSU: Corsair HX850 80plus Gold

How old and how used is it i.e. is it always on or shut down at night etc.

Shut off at night, oldest part is probably the ram, not sure on how many years but next to that is my first card which is almost a year old and everything else was bought during November of 2012, the second card was bought less than 5 months ago.

$1500 max. $1250 is probably the highest I would personally go. People generally don't like buying entire used systems.

ok i was expecting more than that but thanks

I would say no more than $750 max.

Ah, didn't see the 2x in front of the 670. Make it no more than $900, then.

Well, it is used and I'm assuming you payed around $2000 for it, am I right?

It isn't that old lol. I don't know much about buying used computers or their depreciation to be honest though.

yeah you are

I was going to say between $850 and $1000, depending on the buyer. It's a rather competent computer, but most people are incredibly distrustful of used computers, for good reason.

Considering you decreased the life by ocing  like a dipshit, MAYBE 75% of build price.

I wouldn't pay a cent more than 600

the only thing I overclocked was the processor and you can 4.5 with out changing the voltage

he's a dipshit for ocing... right.

No need for the disrespectful comment.

I'd say around $1200 give or take a few hundred.  Looks like a solid system.  I'd recommend you give Ebay a shot.  Who knows, you may get more for it.  You could also try parting out your system.  Usually you can sell your computer faster and get more money if you part it out.

$1500 and i would get that delivered... and i live in aus... here i paid $1500 just for the mobo cpu 750 PSU and a HD 7970

Yes but it decreases the life of the processor, thus makeing it worth less

Not noticably unless you overvolt by more than 10%. He's pretty safe with only 4.6 GHz on an FX 8350. Though being used in any form tends to dramatically reduce the expected cost of resale.

OCing does not make it much shorter life its like saying its only going to last 10years instead of 15 like it makes a difference like you are going to keep it that long any ways.
