i dont like my pc because its too slow for playing most of the newer@highest settings without any lag so i really need a new one...

I like my pc, because its mine. I worked for it and saved my money for it for 6 months. In those months I could not keep my eyes of the improvements being mayde during that time from december 2007 till mid summer 2008. And now I already have it for almost a year. I regret somethings, but off cours thats easely said after I have bought it and gotten smarter, but when I bought it I wanted it to be the best I could get for my money at that time and I think I did a pretty decent job. Just wish it wouldnt be so loud and that I got a different motherboard that would overclock easyer and can run my Ram at EPP #1 (4-4-4-12-22-T2 @2.1V). If I set it manually, my pc wont start and I have to do a CMOS clear.

you have a good setup why do you have lag?? not enough cooling maybe i suggest getting a new gpu fan with copper heatsinks for eacj memory module

It's your CPU, it's bottle-necking the 9800GTX+. Get yourself a E8400 and she should run smooth. Well, smoother. Sounds like you've OC'd your E6420, so if it's still less-than-desirable, you can OC the hell out of an E8400. You're 680i should be able to handle it fine, it's a popular combination.
I like my new build because it is a HUGE upgrade from my old HP P.O.S. desktop. Core i7, p6t deluxe v2, gtx 275, 6gb ocz ram, corsair tx750w psu, 1tb western digital, antec 900.
I love my PC because it's cutting edge and I can play crysis at max with about 80 fps. Video editing is also super fast and slick with no crashing or problems. The only thing I don't like about my PC is the IBM case that its in and the fact that it has no cooling whatsoever.

All of these things make be feel useful in a way. I like going to forums seeing a problem that I had and helping that person fix the problem. I like getting help on problems from people. I like being able to fix what ever is wrong. I like using what I have made flawlessly after tweeking everything to my liking.
What I hate about my PC. Right now I'm using a clone set up basically and I like having a unique feel to my PC, I hate not being able to mess with things hardware or software, I hate not being able to fix things myself and having to RMA things, I hate not filling in empty slots with cards, ram ect. I HATE having to DL so many programs to convert files to something useable (however thats not really the PCs fault) I hate windows movie maker, I hate windows media player, I hate all this stupid DRM that seems to be on EVERY thing now (I tryed playing a MPEG off my video cam but for some reason it would not play because I was doing something illegal "???" because I don't own that file /facepalm)Â
What I like about Macs, good software, good hardware "mostly" everything works.
What I hate about Macs, Cant go out and buy that new hardware I want, If I wanted to upgrade I'd have to buy a whole new system, I don't like the fact I cant change a lot of hardware settings, I don't like not being able to fix things myself. I HATE BEING GROUPED IN WITH MAC FANBOYS
