Hello world i am here to know your oppionion about a build that i have in mind.
Fractal design define r4
Asus maximus VI HERO
Intel 4770K
Corsair 8 gb 1600mhz
Corsair RM750
Asus GTX 780 ti DCU2
Cooler master Hyper x 212 evo
Samgung 840 evo 250 gb SSD
What do you guys think. Is it good of bad for heavy gaming and video rendering?
What would you change?
PS: I alredy have a regular HD.
Why intel tek faggotron suggest that AMD is a superpower
A better heatsink for your 4770k
Looks like a really nice build as long as you're not planning on overclocking out of the box. If you are, you could switch to a ASRock z87 extreme6 or Asus Z87 Plus and get a decent cooler to pull a little more juice from the CPU.
If you're going to be editing video grab 16GB of RAM.
Are you going to OC? If yes better heatsink. If no get a cheaper motherboard and a Xeon 1230 V3.
well what shall i say...
It looks good to me only PSU is a bit overkill for a single gpu setup. RM650 or HX650W would do just fine, the money you save, trow in a better cpu kooler, like the Noctua NH-U14S. Also i would say go with 2X8GB of ram, this will realy come handy with rendering.
Grtz Angel ☺
p.s please dont make dual posts next time.
So this is what you have listed in the first post >>> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3m989
This is a build I recommend for a mostly gaming with some rendering >>> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3m9rZ
The only major difference is the water cooler and some cheaper, but still good, parts.
This is a build I recommend for gaming and rendering mixed (no CPU overclocking) >>> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3m9NU
This one has a CPU that has more or less the same power as the i7, you can't overclock it though, a motherboard with a more powerful headphone amp, twice as much RAM, and an air cooler. Oh, and a cheaper 780 Ti.
Alternatively, here's a combo of the previous recommendations that takes the best from both, but it is the most expensive >>> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3m9Tb
