I honestly love it. It is a really fun game to play when talking/hanging with a friend. Not much I can say about it.
If you don't know what Overgrowth is, watch this:

Here's a bit of gameplay from myself:

It's a shame the badmins on the forums are getting so butthurt over people wanting something good like online multiplayer.
Wouldn't you agree that it'd be fun to have a huge gladiator rumble with friends in Overgrowth?
I wanna know if it will actually ever be released. I'm remember coming across it at some point in 2009, and now almost 5 years later it looks remarkably the same.
Yup, I like the concept but if only it came out before 2020...I was tempted to buy it on the Humble store but then I thought it twice, there is no release date or anything rather than an "alpha" version. IMO he could have asked for a bit more funding to speed up the proscess.
i got the feeling that the devs got trapped perfecting tiny details, instead of actually finishing the game. If you look at how elaborate for example their spear throwing mechanic is.
Or their goal is just making a demonstration piece for their skills in this particular area.
The fluid body movements and fighting mechanics reminds me of Max Payne 3.
