A few weeks ago I travelled to Oslo (I live in Norway) to witness Caliban live. They were extraordinary good and I've loved their music since. They do resemble a metalcore sound, but with a darker tone/style to it.
Their most recent album, I am Nemesis is very well put together, and imho all the songs are spectacular.
