What do i build?! £450/$690

Its coming up to the holiday season and ive sold my console and i have £450/$690 aprox. To spend on a build. I would really like something that is capable of gaming and that is decent to upgrade in the future, could anyone possibly help me with a breif parts list in my price range that is good?!
