What CPUs work with 8 series motherboards? (Intel h87,h81 etc.)

I need an old CPU so that i can upgrade the BIOS on an old Mobo.

The CPU has to natively support H87 because I need to use it to do the upgrade.

 

So what's the cheapest one you can find? Cheers

It came out at a later date though so it's not supported, like the G3258. or did the G3258 come out separately with with 4690 and 4790?

the G3258 came out with the Haswell refresh, the cheapest first gen Haswell chip that I could find is the Celeron G1820 at around 48$ USD. If that isn't supported try something like the Pentium G3220 (around 60$)

isnt their a local shop in the neighbourhood who can update your bios for $10,- ?
