Hey guys, building a slightly strange beast.........codename 'Mullet' a CAD/LAN machine in a BitFenix Prodigy M (Just like a mullet, business in the front party in the back)
Going to use it for a fair bit of Autodesk 3D work, and other "Maker" based productivity tasks, so having it in the Prodigy case makes it really easy to transport to and form workshops, fabricators, and site projects.......but would also like it to kick in the back doors of games.
Im not really worried about GPU at the moment as i'm wanting to compare 780Ti to 290x non reference (thinking its going to the the 780Ti in such a small case with the 290x heat).
Was thinking i7-4770K in a Asus Z87 MAXIMUS VI GENE. But, would love to hear what you guys and girls would do with £500/$800 for a GPU/MOBO combo.
