I've decided to use a i5 4670k with the r9 290. This being my first build I am rather confused with the amount of z87 boards. I plan on OCing so please point me towards a good board. I would like a cheap one but I don't want to miss out or end up regretting being cheap. My builds below if I left anything important out.

i would say go with the Msi Z87 Mpower. this board is on a rediculous sale at the moment.$149,99 ather $20 MiR. As far as overclock feutures goes, they all there,16 powerphases for the cpu, so thats realy sollid. also this board has bluetooth and wifi onboard.

I heard the M power has audio problems, do you know anything about a patch for that yet?

I heard that even though that mobo has a special dedicated area of the board just to do audio (most of the lower left hand corner in fact) that the audio was just horrible. I saw that on multiple pcpartpicker builds with that board.
