Has anyone made anything really cool in unity game engine or want to share what they've made in unity?
no
Not something I've made but Rust and 7 Days To Die were both made with Unity.
Not only those two... If you follow Total Biscuit on YouTube, he makes WTF is..., and for each game he states the engine. And you will be surprised how many indie games are actually made in Unity.
i had a couple fun things i had made. one with a helicopter, where the rotor actually rotated based on throttle but also applied a physics force. then the other one was a little car. the front wheels would rotate for turning, and the back ones would turn for power. i tried to get the front ones to do both...didnt work. also had issues with applying throttle to the car. you could add more power to the wheels but until you hit the brake it wouldnt actually apply to the wheels and then there would be so much force added the car would pop a wheely and go crazy
Dude, that is awesome. I'm trying to get into unity development myself (previously I've always made the engine and games myself) any tips?
Garbage.
I've noticed a lot of thread necros today... Also, Endless Space is a unity game that's worth checking out.
Go grab the latest version of unity and try making a clone of a classic game. The first think i did in unity was make tetris. The unity documentation is very good and their are plenty of video tutorials for the basics both on the website and youtube. Try not to follow a tutorial that shows you how to make a game though as figuring out how to make a game yourself will teach you much more.
The new UI recently introduced into Unity is great to. It is so fast and easy to use and looks awesome, I would recommend learning that system rather than the old GUI system which is much slower to work with.

I don't have any experience with unity at all so I'm not saying your opinion is wrong one way or the other, but a single negative word isn't really helping the conversation, context would make your comment useful and would be gratefully received.
Definitely on my long list of things to do, thanks for taking the time to reply.
