What are some good Cheap 3D Printers

I am getting in to 3D printing and need some advice on what 3D printer to get. I have a budget of 500-700$ and I do not mind assembling/ tinkering with a printer to get it to work. I looked at a few printers from solid doodle and printerbot that looked like what I wanted in a 3D printer. Does anyone have any experience with any of there 3D printers and if so what do you think about them.

Well, the local makerspace got a Solidoodle 4 ($599 US) and we're happy with it. Setup was fairly short, just a little bit of calibration, and that's it.

I don't have personal experience with those printers (I have a replicator original) but I know based on what I read from the 3D printing community that you cant go wrong with a Printrbot Simple Metal. Its in your price range even with the optional hotbed. Alternatively if you want to get dirty in the guts a RepRap (Prusa i3) is another good option and they can be built from scratch or areĀ availableĀ as kits also in that price range.Ā
