What are safe temperatures for WRX80 chipset? (or other AMD chipsets)

I noticed that I’m getting quite high temperatures on TEMP_MB sensor on ASRock WRX80 Creator motherboard. I asked support about location of that sensor and they responded that it’s under chipset heatsink:

What are safe tempartures for such sensor? I’m getting around 60°C here which sounds quite high to me but it’s hard to judge without context of safe chipset temperatures.

the board caps/mofsets are specked to 105’c so you have plenty of headroom.
at 60’c its barely warm.

Ehm… I don’t think they are asking for caps/mosfets but more the chipset iteself.

For TRX40 it will thermal throttle at reaching 94°C.
Since it’s the same generation, I would say that for WRX80 it would be the same.

60°C is quite safe. Mine is around 74-78°C and in summer months it’s getting 10°C higher.

Mine is 80 °C since I have the fan set to low/off, with the temp intake to the computer about 28 °C, room temp is about 23 °C

I ran it like this since I bought it in Nov-2022, I didn’t observe any issue but I’m not sure what a defective chipset would dispaly as effects.
