I was wondering if you guys had some time to do an in depth on memory timings and how it all lines up with the klok speed of cpu.

Basically memory timings control how fast the memory reacts to a request. Usually as memory clock increases the timings also get higher. The best case scenario is to have high speeds and low timings.
How this all ties into CPU clock??? Well, if you have a fast worker (CPU) and someone is handing him materials (RAM). It takes time for the assistant to get and hand the materials to the worker. Meanwhile the worker is wasting time (clock cycles). So if the assistant responds quicker and the worker can get going sooner.

Why exacty are higher RAM clocks then coupled to higher timings?
