The times are changing, torrent sites have been getting knocked offline left and right from domain siezures and server shutdowns. While the culture of torrenting is not bad in anyway, it's the content that gets torrented most of the time that is the issue. Sure, we could go into all of the nuances as to why, but to keep things short and not too far of a tangent, let's just say that downloading content that should have been paid for is still illegal, no matter how you look at it. Yes, that even means if you're dirt broke (like me) and can't afford that 445.95 USD license for Zbrush EDU, or 49.99 a month (599.88 /yr) on the Creative Cloud suite. (19.99/mo for EDU use)
love the channel, love the site, hopefully yall can work shit out legally, professionally, and personally because there is a great thing going on here. word of advice, do not hire or work with friends in the future....shit just doesn't mix and when shit hits fan, there will be blood spilled and feelings will get hurt. been there done that. whenever all is sorted out, i recommend meeting up for a beer and chalking everything up to business differences, lust for power and money, control, fame, glory, ya know, typically human weaknesses....its been going on since dawn of mankind so its really no one's fault. a long talk over some ice cold hearty beer ending with a firm handshake/hug will work wonders and restore all the broken alliances/trust. the tek world shallst then be reborn and forged anew.
No matter which side you're on this really marks the end of this thing. Its too bad because it was the better option to the more technology company backed youtube videos/shows with no objective views. They may still make such videos but the core is gone, as it is it took some time to meld the old crew into a cohesive entity to make the channel flow as it did. Now its back to square one. I suspect companies will wait till they back them as they did till they square things out but will they?
The new group unfortunately has too much of a similar look for those that left and well feels like they're visual replacements not individuals. What next a camera pointing up someones nostril? (Yes that seems to have happened on the last video, couldn't see more past that) Come on, either they're on the show or they should just be a voice over, I put up with the hiding behind the monitors but I can't go through that again.

Relocating and moving to a new location is without doubt the most stressful thing I have done. Then again this plus having the destination (the first real office move) been taken away from you and finding another place could possibly beat that.. Hind sight is too late, so is winding the clock back and bills still have to be paid. sorry I can't help but look on the bright side, soon you will have a real crackpot leading your country and this will all look insignificant in comparison. They have a one of a kind tek show. The best one! I always liked it, the best part of its that they covers so many intressting fields, in science and tek industri, hey even politics.
I have always loved the mixed of the content. They have been spot on(imo). The show give me the latest news and progress of the world.
The Tek, is the show to follow to keep up!

Ive always thought wendell and logan where blood brothers(I know iam saying stuff here without any knowledge of any thing really, but this is just my thought, putting all the gossips aside and so should they.), they should really get there shit together! Focus on what matters.

The bottom line is there was drama, Qain is on his train out of Portland, Wendell is fighting for the tek forum and Linux and hardware channel, Jennifer has a new company.
Don't expect much except some backlogged video's from the whole team. It's done.
Logan is still the main owner of the LLC but the flavour is going to change of the TEK shows and what ever else Logan and his new team does.
Edit: Most of are still here for the community and are waiting on the split, some are hoping for Logan to loop in the community others have given up hope and are waiting on news of where the community ends up.
