Wendell,
I've been using Linux in a server environment for several years now and I'm fairly experienced with it, however I am a PC gamer and a Windows desktop user because of this.
I would like to make the switch to Linux and have tried to several times but I haven't been able to find a window manager or program that allows tiled window management, in addition to floating windows, and also looks good too. I use the program MaxTo in Windows to achieve this functionality, and I was wondering if you (or any other community members) have any suggestions of either a tool that can do this, or a user-friendly guide to using a window manager like i3, and most importantly, how this can work with gaming.
Thanks!
EDIT: By the end of typing this I kinda lost track of what I was trying to ask, would you be able to do a video about how Window Managers work, and how you can use them to customise your experience? I think a lot of the people fairly new to Linux but looking to discover more like myself would very much appreciate that!

I would love to see this too, a showcase of popular ones and the odd guide to those that can be tricky to configure maybe
i agree i think this would be pretty cool for newbies to linux
I might give making a guide to i3 usage a go. It won't be Wendell level, but I think I could show the basics.
If you do then let me know, I'd love to see it, even if it can give me a good idea about how they work at least at a basic level then it'd be super useful!
Hey, i've put together a bit of an overview of how you can use i3 in day to day usage, just re recording the audio and i should have it online some time in the next 12 hours. I'll on a work trip at the moment so time is sparse, but i'll find somewhere to upload it!
That was actually really useful man, thanks a lot! I'll definitely give it a shot when I switch to Linux in the next couple weeks (need to get exams out of the way), and I'll be sure to drop you a line if it all goes wrong. ;-)
Nah, in all seriousness, super useful and thanks a ton for giving me a good idea about how it works and looks!
