Apparently my router is having trouble with DHCP, it's a combination router/modem/AP. A motorola surfboard SBG6580 to be exact. Apparently there was an entry that expires on Fri Dec 13 20:45:53 1901, and my raspberry pi just decides to request a new address every 30 minutes or so. My raspberry pi is connected to another router with dd-wrt in client mode. I don't really think these problems are the same issue, but I'm not sure. Every so often the new ip it hands out to my rpi expires in 1901 as well. I don't know if I should get something else to host my DHCP or if I can fix it.
