Tried booting my rig up Sunday and was greeted to a d2 q-code.
Tried everything pretty much to cross test the parts used on other boards. The only thing I can't isolate is the cpu and board.
Also looked up that Q-code in the book and it says its a PCH initialization error. So a quick google search goes to a wiki page that describes an intel board controller. Thats the weird part.
At this point I'm at a loss. This will be the second Asus ROG board to be RMA'ed by me this year. The one previous was a maximus v gene board that had a few dead DIMM slots. Really thought Asus boards were bullet proof.
The question becomes do I RMA the board and/or cpu?
Any thoughts or otherwise is most welcome.
