I'm trying to put together a youtube video for my channel and every time I go to put in a set of text (Dynamic Text Effect) the whole damn thing crashes.
Is KDEnLive seriously not up to spec for 15.10?
Edit: Here is a paste. Looks like it wants something called QtQuick and maybe that's the crash? It causes a seg fault so I don't really know what to look for past that.
Not sure if this helps, and what version I got, but about half a year ago I tried to use text in KDEnLive and it kept crashing as well.
You can try shotcut if it works for you. It's a bit clumsy to use, but I got it working.
I'm using 15.08.1. I don't get it. It works on my mac but not here?
Edit: I can get shortcut running no problem but I have no clue where anything is. I'd rather use the editor I know. Mybe if I really dig I can find tools but it just looks like a video player to me.
Quite a bit later, back in 15.10 and it still does the thing. Anyone got anything?
Now I remember why I went to Arch (netrunner) but I couldn't play a lot of stuff in it even after bugfixing .-.
Maybe I should just use suse lol
