Weekly Question #3: What do You Think is The Most Important Piece of Hardware in a Computer System?

My Answer: The Power Supply
Reason: Without a power supply, the pc is just a decoration with no use LOL

I would say... psu. the mobo quality can be fudged some, and cpus have more variety at the same quality, but a bad psu will fry your system

I kinda want to say the processor.... but that answer comes from someone who has been using a crappy single core 2GHz laptop for three years.  Getting a new computer next month though! Wooo!

I'm thinkin' optical drive.

nah hotswap bay man

My hard-coded "explode computer" button next to my reset switch.

I have to give full marks to the power cord.

Firstly, it is my brain.

And the far, out of solar system, second is CPU. Every other piece of hardware is just that peripherals.

MOUSE CUZ U NEED MOUSES LOLZ

YEZ I AGRE MOUSE BEST

Rookie errors. It's clearly the case. Despite what it does for cars, red isn't the fastest case colour. It's Imperial Black..

I believe the first component you decide on in a fresh build, is also the most important. CPU!

the most important part is the user without the user no one would turn the PC on ohhhhhh

i think the most important is teh disk drive... because i leik it
