Weekly Question #1: Where Do You Buy Your Computer Hardware?

Hey buddy,
Personally I just buy from any store that is having a reallly good sale.
Normally I find amazon to have the best deals.
Newegg 2nd.
And others have good sales but on items I don't need.

I have to say though. I bought my computer a year ago from newegg. And did I fuck up big time. I had no idea what I was buying. Just picked out items that were cheap and terrible.

Anyway, great video. Looking forward to more.

Thank you very much! I'm looking fowards to making more videos. I've been focusing on the Build Your Own Media Center Pc's lately. Might focus in on a few gaming rigs in a short while. Probably mid november I'll get started with those. I should also be able to get at least 2 video reviews done this month pending on what I get for my birthday.

amazon, newegg

Newegg or random Google Shopping searches if lower prices preferably Google Checkout.

I usually buy off ebuyer(European Newegg.)

Usually off of amazon for general stuff and specific retailers for things that are, well, retailer-specific.

PC Case Gear is where i get all My Hardware from, Super Cheap For Australian Pricing's.

I'm in the UK so things are a little different...

Most of my hardware comes from Novatech (www.novatech.co.uk)
The reason is that they are in my hometown so I get the advantages of a nationwide distributor so the prices are good but I can walk into the store and pick up the kit on the same day. I hate to wait for stuff, If I have the money and made the decision of what to buy I want it now!! :) Also when things go wrong I like to talk to people face to face...

From NCIX or NEWEGG. ;D

I buy from Newegg and if it is not available when I need it I use Amazon or Tigerdirect as my back up.

amazon is best in the uk, simply because of a large selection, quick delivery and lower prices.

Sorry to spam with such a huge list, but if you live in Britain the number of online retailers is rediculous. I've bought hardware from all these shops/sites in the past! These are off the top of my head, there's more I've bought from!

I simply go for whichever site has the lowest price.

It's always a good thing of having a huge list.

There's a local computer store I go to for my parts. Their a great bunch of dudes just trying to make something happen. I get preferential treatment and discounts as I know the owner and I buy stuff from him for 8 years now.

The owner used to be a salesman in the local store of a big retailer and I always went strait to him when I needed parts or advice. Then he left to start his own thing.

For sata cables, Bit Bucket Computers. He'd always have them at a decent price. I pay $5 there, at best buy. $20. So I ride my bike 6 miles just for a sata cable

Newegg has the best filtering for parts.

Usually Ebuyer, Amazon or Scan Computers

Don't really have any local PC Stores except Mom and Pop ones and they usually sell overpriced stuff anyways. I just shop either amazon, newegg and sometimes Tiger.

Used to buy from tigerdirect, now buy from NCIX.  Sometimes amazon and ebay.
