So just recently iv noticed that my google chrome search results look very very weird. most of the search results that im used to arent there and the font is really small and minimalistic. I cant even google image search as well.
when i go onto firefox and say tpy in "hello" i get the untrusted connection error. and i have no idea what the problem is
i dont know if its the certificates of google or what. all of my date and time settings are correct as well
anyone have any idea? this doesnt happen o my laptop on the same network connection.

Sounds like your DNS may be redirecting.
Check your hosts file...
Check your router settings and make sure that you have your ISPs static DNS set or some other legit type of DNS such as Google's DNS or OpenDNS.

Annoyingly i have done all that if not it all already been set.
I had my DNS set to Google's servers a long time ago.
Iv just reset my router as well and that hasnt done the job.
Iv also uninstalled google chrome and re installed it... still nothing.
And my host file looks absolutely fine and how it should be

When i do a troubleshoot on my internet icon i do get
"windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings"
Does that have anything to do with it?
All OK now.
I had to go into internet options > Connections and then untick every option. restared and voila :D
not i can get on with my day
