Web Host/Domain Registrar UK

I'm looking for a good but cheap web host and/or domain registrar in the UK for my own portfolio/CV. I cant host my own server as I live at my parents and already hog their power bill with my rig and home NAS. Are there any good cheap hosts and/or domain registrars out there for my needs? Thanks

I bought my URL on UKReg.

They're a sort of middleman for fasthosts. They're relatively cheap. Haven't used any of their hosting services, though.

I suggest http://gandi.net for your domain they are very good.(Ive used them for years)

For your host if you expect low traffic why not use aws? They have a free tier for a year.

Or digitalocean. They have servers in the UK and Europe. If you sign up with github and add your ac.UK account go to there education page your can get $100 credit for digitalocean.

Thanks guys. I've just set up a domain on gandi and amazon web services and am waiting for the dns servers to change now.
