Ways to use a disk drive in a case with no tray for it?

Buying a new case soon. I want a Fractal Define S, and specifically not the R5.
That would be fine except I can't justify tossing/bricking my disk drive. Is there a way to use a disk drive when I need it and then keep it in a drawer for the rest of the time?

EDIT: To give further information, the Define S has no optical drive tray or door, while the R5 does have both.

Get a USB to sata adapter

ah! i never thought of that. do you know if that's "plug and play" (not a pro with mobos and bios, so I dont know what the deal there is)

EDIT: Got too excited. asked this before I looked for one myself. found one!
