Ways to Deal With Ants

Hey guys, 

I'm currently saving for my first build, and putting about a little over $3000 into it. I barely make any money, so I don't want to build my computer, and later have it damaged or destroyed by ants. 

Ever since my room was re modeled a few years back I've been dealing with ants in my room. Anytime I'm at my desk, laying down or on my laptop, I find ants ever so often. I've even had some come out of my laptop... I don't get why, and I never allow food in my room.   

So I was wondering if anyone of Tek Syndicate ever had to deal with ants? And what might be the best ways to keep them away/out from the computer when building it, and once it's built.

Do you live in a house or Trailor/Mobile Home ? They have obviously made nest for themselves under your house or in close proximity outside., or in the wall or floor.

Figure out what kinda ants they are? Locate the Nest or Nests? Buy some chemicals? Call an exterminator?  or  http://bit.ly/1cVnJqp

A house, and most likely. There's a side yard next to all of the rooms in the house... 
Hopefully they haven't made one in the floor or walls. 

I've searched google many times in the past. I've also used many things to get rid of them, and to keep them away... But they still show up.

I've used terro before, and it sorta worked. It definitely attracted a lot of ants, but it never got rid of them. 

As I stated above I've used many things to get rid of them, and many things to keep them away. But no luck.

You should use the Tero non stop once they eat it all add more and then more..I had some many ants at my old house that they could clean it up in less than 2 hours..You best bet is to get them attracted to a spot outside and try to find their nest..Or call a pest control person..You can probably find a how to pest control video and see how the professional do it and mimic them..They most likely just use outdoor baits and and probably spray a chemical guard around the house and cracks and holes and windows..This is just my speculation haven't looked it up..
