Ways to clean up the power going to my pc

So i have been thinking since my x650 has started to coil whine/buzz. That it could be my houses electricity causing it to damage my parts.

Would a ups like this clean up the power going to my psu?

Or will i have to buy a power conditioner to clean the power going to my psu?

Erm, why exactly do you think it's your houses electricity that is causing your problems? Is it a really old house with really old cables? Are you lights flickering whenever you put stress on your PC, etc? It's basically the PSUs job to properly distribute the power and to deal with any kind of fluctuation in it. A quality PSU would be a better investment IMO.

I only think that its the houses electricity because i have swapped out nearly every part and tested the psu by itself and it still has the buzz/coil whine. And this psu is suppose to be one of the best 650w psu's on the market.

Just because it's supposed to be the best out there doesn't mean that it can't have coil whine. It happens, even with 150$ PSUs. I don't think that your houses electricity has something to do with that. If you have the option it would be good to swap it out with another PSU and see if that makes a difference. Or, even better, you could take the PC with the PSU and try plugging it in at a friends house or something, that should tell you if it really has something to do with your wires (I still doubt it) or the PSU itself (more likely). Try those things before you buy additional hardware.

If your power is causing the coil whine that UPS still won't help. It's a line interactive UPS which means if the voltage is too high or too low it will kick in and the battery will take over, but it won't continuously condition the power. I think that kind of UPS is called an online UPS, and I think they're pretty pricey. Basically they work by always running the devices plugged in to them off the battery so they're isolated from the main power.

Ok thanks for the info guys. Looks like i will be will have to rma this unit once my other psu comes back from rma. ( I have really bad luck when it comes to coil whine and psus)

You don't need a UPS, just an AVR (Voltage regulator), but most likely the PSU itself is the problem.

When my 7850 started doing that I simply replaced the fans on it with a 120mm zip tied to it. but thats just me.

a little bit of apple cider vinegar will get the power spotless.
