Water damaged macbook boot issue

I have a friend with a A1466 macbook air, it has water damage and will not boot.

i have taken it apart and cleaned the corrosion, i also had the same model battery laying around so i replaced that also. we plugged it in and the little power cord light turned green to amber. it booted, turned it off and will not boot or light the power cord. tried SCM reset thing.

Any sage wisdom out there??

It is, but, even if it's not, you could send the device to his repair store. Moat likely the are some damaged components
