was going to get some Audio Technica ATH-M50x any ideas on something better for similar $$$
I was an inch away from buying these a few months ago. And it was a special edition model. MAN, I was sooo close.
I would try as many different makes and models as possible as the experience is all subjective. The Audio Technica is a studio headphone, if that is what you need it is a good purchase. But when I tried them out I put on some Unida album. It did not blow my skirt up tbh.
I have been trying different makes and models since. You really need to try try and try.
Here is a tiny list of headphones I have tried and I suggest you give them go. (Sorry if it doesn't exactly match your budget)
Grado RS-1i
Denon AH-D600
Beyerdynamic DT 770 (super comfy!)
AKG K420
need to fix that man lol. what are you using them for? neutral monitoring or gaming/music?
dont be that guy. they are going to be used for music 99% of the time and for travel and on the go sort of stuff
I'm not normally a spelling nazi, just thought that was funny that's all.
Then look into my little list.
I did and thank you very much but none of them sell in new zealand except the Denon AH-D600 and they are $800
I think I was being a bit too loose on budget.
Sony headphones are also pretty good also. Some are super expensive but the mid-range headphones are definitely some to try.
Sony MDR-XB950BT is one to try if you like bass.
what do u guys think of the
Audio Technica ATH-MSR7
as an option
Don't think I have tried them. They are monitor headphones, better try them out if you want to listen to music with them.
