Want to upgrade soon, need advice on a case

Hey guys.

I'm looking into upgrading my case real soon here, like maybe in about a month or so. Upgrading from a Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid Tower.

I want to get a great full size case that doesn't kill my wallet. One w/ great airflow and enough space for future upgrades etc.

I am currently looking into getting a Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower as it has space for 3x 230mm fans, has plenty of room for my tastes, looks great imo, and I can get it for $130 when on sale.

I want your guys' opinion on it. Worth it for the money?

Also if you guys have a better case for around the same price, (maybe $10-$20 more) I'd love to hear it.

I am a big fan of Cooler Master Cases and actually now have 5 of them. Here is a great case to have a look at. I don’t think you are going to be able to beat the price of the Rosewill as I noticed it even comes with free shipping from the Egg. Anyway have a look.

well tbh, they seem to do almost the same thing.

I don't really like the ruggedness of the HAF or the fact that i can't turn off the front fan LED. (the look of a case means a lot to me)

The Thor also has built-in fan controllers, and (could be wrong here) more gromets for cable management. I also don't care for the side panel on the HAF.

Besides those thing though, they seem pretty similar.

I find when you get to that size of case within that specific budget your looks are not going to change much. The number of fans and the size of the fans that come with the case help to determine which way to go as we all know the price of quality fans is not cheap.

Here is a page I set up for you to look at from Newegg. Talk about different styles!

Wow, I guess you're right...I'm loving the NZXT Switch 810 cases. They look very beautiful in terms of how sleek they are. wish the front dust filter was easier to clean though :/ and i also wish it suported bigger fans :( but the case looks great :D

I just might consider it.

Edit: Ok I'm definitly considering it. Might wait till it's on sale though. Hopefully for $150 or less :D.

I'm loving it though for how much customization it has.

Agreed ^ The Switch 810 is an awesome case. Practical in just about every way, and it's decently cheap if you find one on sale.

Anything from Fractal Design. I love my Define XL!

I to am a fan of coomaster cases. In fact my build is in this case.  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119245&Tpk=Storm%20Trooper%20SGC-5000-KKN1

I find the handle on top very handy. My last build I used a mid tower case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119264

Happy with both cases. I have a small 3 gallon air compressor I use to blow out the dust in my cases. If your reading this and thinking a small air compressor may work of you I can not stress this enough, Make suure the compressor has a oil/water filter on it. If you dont have that, your gonna hose down your motherboard with water.

As much as I like Cooler Master HAF design cases because of the excellent air flow and the 200mm low RPM fans I do like the NZXT case designs. They also come in a rather nice array of colours too.
