Hey all! So I've been building a beast gaming PC, and I wanted to get into streaming just as like a hobby. But I'm not quite sure how to start. I'm on Cox cable down in Florida, and I get about 7 mb/s average. I'm not sure what sort of setup I'd need to play something like Star Citizen, or some other online games, over a stream with no performance issues. Would I need any additional hardware, and what sort of software would you all recommend?
Just load up OBS and you should be good to go, you could maybe use DXtory in conjunction with it for less CPU overhead

To stream in HD it has been said to me that 10 Mbps upload is the minimum you really want. Your internet service might be what makes your streaming experience not such a great one when you try it. After I saw what my stream looked like with 6/1.5 I gave up. Until affordable internet comes to my area I won't be streaming at any point in time soon. Best of luck to you Soul_of_Iron.
