Want to buy a 10.1 inch tablet but dont know what to go for. I have looked at the xperia z but wanted hear other people`s oppeions.

The Xperia Z is honestly the best Android tab you can buy right now short of the Nexus 10. Have you tried looking ebay sellers that might ship to you?
It`s just that i read somewhere that the os on the xperia z is abit laggy because of the reskin.

get the z. Root that bad boy, get cm10.1 on there and yur good to go. Very very nice tablet
Good idea but wouldnt i lose some features like the tv remote thingy ?
Most likely not, a lot of unofficial builds of CM still bake in all of the stock ROM features
I've got the Xperia tablet and it has worked like a charm; haven't experienced any lag or hangs, so i'm for now sticking to the default software.
The only annoying thing about the Z is it's built-in speakers, being located at the bottom sides you end up covering the speakers with ur palms, so when watching videos or playing games like Real Racing 3 it's better to flip the tablet upside-down to get the speakers on top, but it's a bit awkward to have that upside-down Sony logo in front of you if you're a perfectionist. :p
But I use headphones 90% of the time when there's something to listen to so it's not that big of a deal.
Let me correct one thing; Chrome did suffer from minor lag when scrolling (fast), so I installed Firefox and after THAT iv'e experienced no lag. ;)
