Lately there are rumors of the new Walkman Sony Walkman NWZ-X1000,which was reported to have a touch screen interface. It seems like touch technology is becoming more common, but lets hope that they can perfect it and make it as good as the itouch. The Walkman NWZ-X1000 features built-in Wi-Fi enables you the feature of web-browsing. Another interesting feature is addition of a built-in noise cancelation that allows headphones to block out ambient noise. Also ive heard that it comes in 16gb and 32 gb models.

Seems like a great product but i wonder if it can really beat the the successful Apple ipod products. Well what do you guys think of this new Walkman?

The sound quality is sooo much better on my Walkman phone than my ipod. Not the touch though as I cannae be arsed to upgrade.

i should try it and see if it sounds better than the ipod

I have a walkman phone, totally beats the ipod touch / iphone a hundred times.

Walkman touch looks like a great product! (With back and forward buttons.. which no i poduct has) The design is good to, will defineatly take a closer look at this sometime.
