So after updating to the latest AMD drivers I was expecting to finally be able to use VSR but after enabling it in CCC my list of resolutions stays the same (using 1440p monitor, should have 3200x1800 after enabling VSR) Any other 280X users having this problem too?

3200x1800 seems to be, currently, the only "bump up" allowed for a 1440p monitor.
I know, what im saying is that Im not getting the option for that resolution.
Oops! Misread.
I'll try to look into this issue when I get back from work, because I have an R9 280X that I was thinking of using again.
Have the non X version of the 280 and VSR works ... Did you get your driver directly from the AMD site ? I know that when I initially enabled it, the resolutions didn't appear until I closed and re-opened CCC ... If that doesn't work maybe try something stupid like restarting and see if it gets it's shit together when it boots back up.
Am currently using it on dual 1080p displays, and getting an increase to 1440.
@Calculatron cool, thanks!
@Raate Yea got them from official site and rebooted several times. I have just one 1440p display.
If activating it the traditional way did not work, the only other thing I can think of is, perhaps, your method of connection. Are you using DVI, HDMI, or Displayport? It might depend on displayport.
Thats probably it actually, im using DVI-D. Totally didnt think of that.
I've had a quick play with it in my PowerColor 280X hooked up to a 1080p screen via Display port and it only appears to be offering up to 1440.
At first I though this was because it was a 144Hz screen but after testing with a second screen over HDMI it was still the same.
Even at 1440 I can't say I was impressed, FSX didn't scale properly (black border to bottom and right) and the performance drop in Unigine Heaven was quite noticeable. I'll play around with it some more when I get time; DSR on my wifes machine with a GTX 960 works really well on the handful of games tested so I'll be disappointed if I can't get VSR working right.
