I have a Windows 10 box with VPN software from the provider. When I connect the VPN it uses a Wireguard connection and works well browsing the internet. However, I can no longer see local LAN devices such as server, nas, etc… When I try to ping each device I receive “General Failure.” Once I turn the VPN off I can ping all the devices.
I do have 4 NICs on this machine. I’ve been trying to use a 2nd NIC for local traffic only but haven’t had any success either (but this is a bit above my current skill level).
TLDR:
I want to use my VPN and see local devices on my network.
