Does anyone have any experience using VoiceMeter Banana?
I am a bit confused as to what are the optimal settings.
For the the microphone channel (Hardware Input 1, in my case) should ‘mono’ be selected if the microphone is mono. The exact microphone is the Audio Technica AT2020+ USB. There is also another ‘mono’ button on the ‘Master Section’ channels. Should ‘mono’ be selected here, too?
If I select ‘mono’, the microphone levels become noticeably louder.
I have circled the two ‘mono’ buttons I am on about in red in the picture below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Don't mono on the master, when that master mono is selected, it's basically pushing together the stereo sounds and pumping them. You want mono going in...
well not both, just the source audio . don't turn both off either because if you aren't recording mono you're recording stereo which isn't ideal for dialogue. Even in mono it is a stereo audio wave depending on the fader volume so in order to center it just lower the volume and to make it wider just raise the volume. But yea record in mono, this is a voice not a guitar right?
