Hello everyone,
After some unsuccessful googling I thought I'd try asking the Tek Syndicate forums. I've occasionally had an issue when using VMWare workstation 8 and it is a huge pain, especially because it is not consistent.
The issue is as follows: Sometimes when I boot a VM (any VM, it doesn't matter which) my entire VMWare Workstation will 'crash' but windows will not pick up this error, I can still interact with workstation but no functions work. I cannot power off the offending VM and the only way to regain control is to reboot windows. When booting, the VM will get stuck immediately and will not load at all.
I hope you guys can help and if theres any other piece of information that can help I will gladly give it.
